Description

In Stonington, ME, Andy Gove is a legend. He began lobstering in 1937 when he was 7 years old and continued lobstering for 82 years. Andy died in June of 2020 and his relatives and the townspeople of Stonington paid tribute to him with a flotilla of boats on the harbor on July 12, 2020.

Andy Gove’s House, Stonington ME is a hand-printed woodblock print in a varied edition of 20 prints. Printed on 100% Savoy cotton rag paper. Each unique print is created using ultramarine ink and tint base to create the second color.  Prints have a white mat (with black core) and are available in either a black frame or white frame.
